Transferring items into set
Hello,
I am just discovering item.exchange... shame. I have some items on Maniapark, but i would like to put them here too.
But i found out my "bank-to-bank" items are already included in a set Eyebo.wp released a while ago. Don't get me wrong, i'm very flattered Eyebo did so : being in the "Canyon Essential Items", published by such an "custom item master", is like being nominated to the academy awards, haha ! Thanks Eyebo, if you read this.
But i thought maybe making a set with these 2 items on their own would be a good idea... Unfortunately i can't upload them, because they already exist in the database. Trying to do so, i was offered to "claim ownership", which i did thinking i would then be able to edit them into a set. But nope. The items are there, but no way to put them into a set...
Is there any way i could do ? (without messing with Eyebo's set)
Not a big deal, but i'd like to.
If you've claimed ownership are you now able to delete them? If so, I think you may need to delete them first from here and then upload them as a set.
Hmm.. I guess i can, but that would mess with Eyebo's Essential set, which i don't want.
What about renaming them, would that work?
Sorry just trying to come up with a solution for you
Yes, it seems to be the only solution... Not ideal as it will make duplicates in the database, with different names.
bah, not a big deal, as i said. : )
Thanks for trying. : )
Anyway they can have a slight tweek and called them Bank-To-Bank v2? :/
Looking at them I think a slight tweek on the road surface to better blend from one block to the next. Don't get me wrong, they do look very nice work.
i agree.
But you know, i really just play with the mesh editor and don't understand much, haha.
I would really like to know how to make these perfectly blend with standard blocks, meaning clipping with other blocks as standard items do, but i don't know how.
If you do, pleeease, tell me. :) Good tutorials are badly lacking for mesh modeler, in many areas...
I would have to go into game to check which blocks they connect to. Yours are items but all the ones I make are blocks so they connect to original blocks.
Looking at the "items" you have made, I would have probably made them in to halfs using the clips from origal blocks that originaly connect to them. If you had made them in two halfs then one half would connect seamlesly to first original block and the other half would connect to second original block, meaning your two blocks would connect in the middle of both making a seamless transision.
Like I said I would have to look.
I'm not a big lover of items myself.
Well, the issue here is that i don't even know what you're talking about... What is the difference between blocks and items ? And how do i create blocks ? See, i'm a noob...
