Current Meta for Creating New Blocks/Items in TM2020?  

I'm trying to figure out what the current workflow is for getting custom meshes and textures into TM2020. I have some ideas for tracks I want to make, and I have professional modeling and texturing tools, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get that stuff into TM2020?

Do you still have to import everything into TM2 first, then export from there and import to TM2020? Has someone come up with a better workflow yet or a better tool? Additionally, if I get custom models in, how do I get custom textures to embed in my map for custom objects/items?

yes it's a small bug on the tree element. I'll fix it somewhere this month :)

[SUGGESTION] Add a co-author  

Everything is in the title. A suggestion about an option to make the posibility to add an co author to a set pack.

There are two different types of objects : Items and Blocks ...

Items go into ***/Documents/Trackmania2020/Items

Blocks go into ***/Documents/Trackmania2020/Blocks

Note : if it is a zip file , you need to unpack it .

Lastly :after unpacking/installing the game needs to be restarted for it to 'see' the new objects ...

Then Items should simply appear in your items list , whilst Blocks appear near the Block they were modeled on (so you may need to search a bit if it is a block ...)

how to get objects into the editor?  

Hi guys, I would like to use some blocks from here to my map. But I have one big problem, I dont know hot to get them to the editor xD. Where should I insert? In which file? I tried files like: documents/Trackmania/ (items, blocks, manialinks, modules, editors) and when I opened editor, nothing...

idk, if I´m dumb or something, but I cant manage how to get it there. Some advice?

 

There's no "NadeoImporter" tool for TM2020, so you'd have to import to TM2 first... and then get the mesh into Mesh Modeler so you could export a crystal. And then you can import that crystal into TM2020.

Question : Can you import models from Blender or 3DS Max into TM2020?  

Hi, I was wondering how importing works in Trackmania 2020. Some poeple say things are similar to the old ones but there is a few different steps, I never made custom content for the older titles so I wouldn't know. I have some models I am trying to import into Trackmania 2020 as a test but I am having seriously difficulties as I am not sure what is outdated now and what isn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
