Interactive booster strengths. Uses the Turbo_Deprecated and Turbo2_Deprecated surfaces.

How it works: The "deprecated" surfaces don't have a way of calculating directional strength. For some reason, this means that they instead copy the values of the last-applied effect - in this case, "bouncy", which itself does not do anything other than applying the directional values.

Based on this value (Which also gets copied from any in-game effect, so be careful with what you use before the OmniDirectional Turbos), it does not matter how you enter the turbos. You will always, no matter the direction, get the same boost.

How to set up:

  1. Place a Turbo_Setup block. The triangle of the half-reset icon points in the forwards direction.
  2. (Optional) Place a Turbo_Reset, if you for example want a "safe" route that cannot initiate the turbo
  3. Place one of the OmniDirectional Turbos

Important note: The rotation of the setup block is the one that matters! The turbos themselves don't need to be rotated in a specific way.

More notes:

  1. Stored directional values get erased when you standstill respawn. This can be used to, for example, have an antiboost, that doesn't trigger when standstill respawning.
  2. Gates do not interact/interfere with stored values.
